Decisions/ Minutes:

Bologna Coordination Board met at Senate Hall under the chairmanship of Bologna Coordination Board President, Prof.Dr. Muharrem Certel, on Thursday, 29 April 2011 between 10:30 – 12:00 a.m. In the meeting, firstly, the issues of filling the course description forms and Diploma Supplement (DS) application form were discussed. Subsequently, the correlation of Undergraduate Programs Competencies and Course Learning Outcomes and also the correlation of master degree competencies and doctoral programs were discussed. Finally, general assessment of the Bologna Process work and the automation program were made.

In this context these decisions have been taken:

1. An additional period of one week will be given for the preparation of Course Info Packages, which planned to be ready on 29 April 2011 according to the Bologna Process Compliance work schedule but not completed with various reasons. 

2. Course Info Packages will be transmitted electronically to Deanery/ Directorate until 6 May 2011 by Departments/Discipline and Programs.

3. Course information packets which prepared for each level of education (filled by Departments and instructors) will be archived in both of Departments / Program Coordinators and Deanery/ Directorate electronically.

4. “Course information packets” incomplete courses will be reported to Deanery/ Directorate by the Departments / Program Coordinators until 6 May 2011.

5. The lists of “Course information packets” incomplete courses will be reported to Bologna Process Coordination Office and Rectorate (BCC Presidency) by the Sub-Coordinators.

6. Sub-Coordinators will be held information-sharing meetings about Diploma Supplement (DS) in their Units, with the support of Bologna Process Coordination Office when necessary.

7. An additional period of one week will be given for checking and correcting Diploma Supplements which planned to be ready on 29 April 2011.

8. Troubles in Diploma Supplement works will be reported to Bologna Process Coordination Office without delay.

9. Works to create Course Information Packets in English which prepared in Turkish will be made the period of 01 June-01 September 2011.

10. Coordination meeting will be held on 12 May 2011 with the participation of Vocational School Directors and Vice Directors and all relevant persons to ensure compliance with Bologna Process and Human Resources Development through Vocational Education Project.
