Decisions/ Minutes:

Bologna Process Unit Coordinators hold their meeting on 4th February 2011 at 10:30-12:30 by the chairmanship of Vice Rector Prof.Dr.Muharrem CERTEL in the Nuri OZALTUN Conference Hall at the School of Tourism and Hotel Management. Bologna Process Coordinator Prof.Dr.Burhan OZKAN gave information about Bologna Process works, introduced Bologna Process web page and made a presentation about the Bologna Process Unit Coordinator’s job descriptions and also about the Bologna Process work schedules and work packages which have been prepared by Bologna Process Coordinators. Finally, the information were given about the ECTS questionnaires, lecturer evaluation questionnaires,  and stakeholder questionnaires, which have been prepared by Quality Assurance Sub Committee and then the participants’ opinion were taken.

In this context these decisions have been taken:

  1. It was emphasized that the information about the presentations presented by Unit Coordinators should be given to the Department/Programme Curators or Working Groups.
  2. It was stated that Unit Coordinators should organize at least one meeting in a month with Department/Programme Working Groups and create meeting minutes, take photographs for archive and documentation.
  3. The obligation of complying of Unit Coordinators to the Bologna Process working calendar was underlined strongly.
  4. The Unit Coordinators will be held responsible from the completion and notification of the programme and course descriptions to the Student Affairs Department until 13th May 2011.
  5. It was decided to give an automation system user training towards lecturers for entering the learning outcomes and programme achievements to the web based automation system.
  6. It should be taking information from the livewires about possible problems after passing the automation system.
  7. It can be made a presentation to the units which request information sharing on Bologna Process.
  8. The idea of a new link named “Internal Circulars (Minutes)” was expressed.
  9. It was emphasized that the every kind of announcements, the decisions/reports published in the Bologna web site minutes link or anywhere in the site (even not published as an official letter) are binding for all units.

10.  It can be put an example description work of a lesson and programme into the Bologna web site.
11. It is necessary to complete the programme descriptions as soon as possible by the units which give basic courses (Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Foreign Languages…etc.).
12. To be taken place of the basic courses catalog in the related departments and to open courses related to the lessons which are not in this catalog.
13. For the 2010-2011 period, the lecturer evaluation questionnaires, and the course evaluation questionnaires, will be done over the internet three weeks before the final exams.
14. In future periods, the implementation of these questionnaires, will be done at the same time with the ECTS questionnaires.
15. The ECTS questionnaires, will be done for courses which will currently in progress only by the lecturer of these courses.
16.The units can make changes on the stakeholder questionnaires,only with the confirmation of Bologna Process Coordinators.
17. The units will be announce the information about Bologna Process in their clipboards and LCD screens.
