Decision / Minute:

Bologna Process Coordination Board met at Senate Hall under the chairmanship of Bologna Coordination Board President, Prof. Dr. Muharrem Certel on Friday, 27 January 2012 between 09:00-10:30 a.m. Firstly in meeting, in regard to agenda of BCC Meeting which will be held on 30 January 2012, the second agenda item; the issue about 'ECTS Action Plan of Akdeniz University in 2012' were discussed. The third agenda item at the meeting; ECTS Questionnaire and Instructor and Course Evaluation Questionnaires related to Information Sharing Meetings which will be held by Bologna Coordination Office and Quality Management Unit Coordination in spring semester were discussed. Lastly, in meeting, Bologna Process Works was general assessment.

In this context these decisions have been taken:

1) To be held BCC Meeting scope of under the agenda items and on 30 January 2012,

a)      About the Bologna Process Harmonization Studies sharing of information and informing,

b)      Discussion about 2011-2012 education year Bologna Coordination Commission (BCC) which will be sent to Council of Higher Education (CoHE),

c)       Giving information about the ECTS Label Application Action Plan

2) In related to ''ECTS Action Plan of Akdeniz University in 2012' which was prepared by Bologna Coordination Office for the year 2012 ECTS Label application of our University,

a)      Action plan to be sent via e-mail to Coordination Commission and alteration proposals to resolve in the next BP Coordination Commission meeting,

b)      After 'ECTS Action Plan of Akdeniz University in 2012' resolve in the next coordination Committee, put on the agenda of the Senate and to make a presentation to Senators,

c)       To be coordinated by Rectorship senior management with important actors who are Bologna Coordination Office, External Relations Department, Registrar's Office, School of Foreign Languages Department of Information Processing in ECTS Label Application Studies, to make task distribution and to ensure institutional agreement prior the application,

d)      Studies of ECTS Label to discuss with together curriculum revision and diploma supplement label studies and monitoring of the application as a whole,

e)      In this context, the units were visited by Rectorship to determine shortcomings parts in the application preparatory work and develop solutions in partnership with departments,

f)       To create 'ECTS Label Application Studies Checklist' regarding with issues which under field of units' responsibility scope of year of 2012 ECTS Action Plan and to control list of control by unit managers,

g)      when all responsible departments work and transaction which prescribed in Action Plan calendar is completed, as of 18 May 2012 all studies to complete and in 1 June 2012 to be sent standard application form of ECTS Label Application file and the documents attached with the National Agency,

3) Due to required  to catch an effective work tempo with External Relations Unit in ECTS Label Application process, Expert Zeynep Tugce Ciftcibasi Guc who is Akdeniz University Erasmus Institutional Coordinator to participate in BP Coordination Committee meeting about ECTS Label,

4)  Due to tables of A,B,C,D,E and F which are BP Information Package Templates are defined on the new e-Akdeniz Automation System Software, completion of data entry transactions made by the units to these parts,

5)  Department/Program Courses-Program Outcomes binding Table (G) which is missing BP Info Package Templates to inclusion urgency in automation substructure,

6) To begin transaction detection units which have not completed BP Info Package Templates, immediately after scope of spring semester student matriculation term of Add-Delete (6-7 February 2012) and sent to warning letter to units which have deficiencies,

7) To present the latest situation regarding the completion templates of BP Info Package to Rectorship senior management with a report,

8) In relation to info meeting for students about ECTS Questionnaire and Instructor and Course Evaluation Questionnaire which will be held in Spring Semester in Bologna Coordination Office and Quality Management Unit Coordination,

a) Student Council and Bologna Coordination Office to make a meeting and ECTS Questionnaire and Instructor and Course Evaluation Questionnaires in relation to how to shape of information to determine common behavior,

b) In this context, determination of which information methods are going to use for informing students such as to hang posters in unit boards, PowerPoint presentation be made via unit's TV, published as education videos on internet, to make an announcement using facebook address, after Questionnaire Management System entry, to make informed for students in the course and after the meeting it was decided the first BP Coordination Meeting.
